In 1919, just after the devastation of WWI, Tweedale published these 34 fact-based testimonials, just a sampling of her psychic experiences over a lifetime, including haunted houses and ghost sightings, with conjectures and explanations of what might cause these phenomena, why she is convinced they are real, and what could be going on in the chaotic world which generally escapes our senses. Tweedale, a Scottish author, poet, crusader, pianist, orator, member of the Theosophical Society, was a prolific writer of short stories and novels, often with a romantic or supernatural theme. She wrote over 30 books on spiritual subjects. (Summary by Michele Fry, BC)
